According to Microsoft and industry research, the number of commercial seats doubles every quarter. This strong momentum, which includes Microsoft’s Azure enterprise cloud platform, is part of the larger shift by organizations to hosted applications and productivity suites. Market researcher Forrester estimates the public cloud market will increase to $191 billion in 2020.
